A creeping vine of Spanish origin.

A vigorous variety, late budding and matures in the middle of October.

The grape is round in shape, intensely black in colour, rather small in size, waxy, thin skinned, with a hard and colourless flesh and very large pips.

The wine is bright red in colour, aromatic, of high acidity, and is used especially in mixtures to provide longevity.
